Spring is coming up and Art is in the Air for Printmakers.

Blue Fig has rolled into the new year with a few shows and workshops. We are offering a special for those of you who want to take private workshops or classes. These sessions are designed to help you learn the most about the printmaking media as well as help you develop as an artist. With these workshops you will be offered a unique experience to develop your craft as an printmaker and artist. These 1 on 1 workshops offer exclusion use of the entire studio under the guidance of Mike Martino.You will walk away with tons of info not only on printmaking but how to develop your own artistic endeavors as well. Blue Fig Editions is a printmaking studio and workshop that creates original and innovative prints while working with artists to create images in a print medium. In addition we work with non-artist to develop unique prints in a very hands-on collaborative workshop.

At Blue Fig we maintain the traditional methods of printmaking and hope to promote the artistry and craft of creating editions on paper. We also have blended with new techniques in printmaking such as photo processes and computer generated images. We strive to stay in tune with environmentally safe processes.  Blue Fig is always looking for Safer and Greener ways to make prints.

A large portion of our work is contracted with publishers, dealers, galleries, and institutions using their own design representative/artist to create limited editions. Blue Fig Studio is available on a limited basis for open-shop work or collaborative work by experienced artists.

Blue Fig also partners with charitable organizations to develop limited editions for publicity as well as unique fund raising opportunities.  Many of these prints are created in collaboration with celebrities to promote these charitable causes. We also work directly with celebrities to create prints for awareness and fund raising opportunities.

There are several ways to create prints with Blue Fig Editions:

• Printing for artists to create original prints.
• Collaborating with organizations to develop limited editions for their causes.
• Creating  original artwork and prints with celebrity profiles for charitable fund raisers.
• Providing printmaking classes & workshops for individuals and groups.
• Promoting as well as selling prints created through Blue Fig Editions.
